Spanish Classes for Teens and Children

Imagine your son or daughter speaking with Spanish-speaking people, understanding another culture, and feeling comfortable expressing their own thoughts in another language. Spanish can open doors to new experiences, deeper connections, and opportunities that last well beyond the classroom.
At SpanishBlackbelt, a live native-speaking tutor guides your child or teen through real conversation, so Spanish becomes something they use and not just something they study. They move through clear belt levels at their own pace, learn to use the language creatively, and gain confidence with every level completed.
In this program SpanishBlackbelt is in charge of your teen or child's entire Spanish education. In addition to providing the practice needed to aid retention, our Spanish classes also provide the opportunity to develop a higher level of thinking skills as it aims at teaching how to use the language creatively.
Our classes focus mainly on speaking and listening, while still building the more traditional skills of reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. Your teen or child progresses at their own pace and develops strong skills that build lasting confidence. A student shows mastery of a concept or skill by using it correctly several times, with an accuracy of 80% or more. Once a student demonstrates that proficiency, they move on to the next level. Our program has 10 conversational belt levels, ranging from Pearl Belt (complete beginner) to Black Belt (near-native fluency).
Your teen or child follows our structured syllabus together with proprietary study materials, available online at no extra cost. These materials teach each concept through simulated situations in which that concept proves useful, so what is learned can be used right away. They also include online quizzes and multimedia applications that let your teen or child complement live instruction with self-study at home. Parents are welcome to join any session.
Please note that small group classes assembled by SpanishBlackbelt are available only to students 16 years of age or older. If your son or daughter is younger than 16, they can take one-on-one classes, or you can assemble a private group with them and other children, family members, or friends.
