Nicolás Canales

Nicolas Canales is the founder and head of SPANISH black belt language tutoring services.

Nicolás, a native Spanish speaker from Peru, acquired a strong passion for tutoring since his early days in high school. Back then he tutored Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics to other students his age. His interest in learning languages started when he was very young while he struggled to learn english at the best language institutes and came across with his own methods for learning his new language frustrated with the inefficacy and inefficiency of traditional methods.

Nicolás has proven business and entrepreneurial experience in the US market and abroad and is familiar with the tutoring services best practices in Europe, Asia, Latin America and the US. He graduated suma cum laude from a top economic sciences school in Peru, worked for a while in different industries and then moved to the United States to earn a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Vanderbilt University. He founded this company a year after he graduated.

He lived in Japan and traveled extensively to other destinations, worked with Wells Fargo Bank, analyzing the Hispanic market, and now manages SPANISH black belt and acts as Customer Satisfaction Assurance coordinator. On his free time, Nicolás enjoys cycling, hiking and other outdoor adventure sports.
